LocalCanvas offers a simple, free way for anyone to turn their passion for art or photography into an income. You’re an artist, why would you maintain an online store and fulfil client orders when you can spend time doing what you love most?
We handle everything for you, including managing online orders, fulfilling orders, and shipping directly to your customers door.
How can this service be offered free of charge?
Every time a product is sold that uses or displays your content, money will be accumulated. Every month, this money is paid directly to you as a royalty for letting us use your images.
For example; you submit 10 high quality images for us to use. If a sale is made that uses any of these images, you will receive a set amount of royalties from that sale. The amount earned varies, but ultimately it is up to you, the Artist.

So, how does it work exactly?
Step 1: Apply
Once you are ready to become a LocalCanvas artist, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page to begin the application process. Once we have received your information, the next step of the process will commence.
Step 2: Our turn
Once we have received your high-resolution artwork/photographs you would like included in your shop, and we have approved you to become an artist, we will begin development on your LocalCanvas shop page. Development time can be between 24-48 hours, and you will be notified when your shop is active and ready to sell!
Step 3: Collect your royalties
Congratulations! You’re now an official LocalCanvas artist and you’re one step closer to turning your hobby into an income. Depending on how many sales have been made over the month, you will receive a detailed report of how many sales you’ve made, along with a royalty payment directly to your email of your choice.
